The National Jet Boat Association is pleased to announce the return of Drag Boat Racing on Lake Ming, in Bakersfield California. Once again the competition promises to be intense! . Lake Ming has been home to drag boat racing for over forty years, a venue dedicated to drag boat racers and fans to provide spectacular racing and fierce competition.

 

Come out and meet your favorite race teams and feel the heat from these high performance engines as racers prepare their boats for a weekend of high octane racing as the pits are open to all spectators and fans!

 

Friday the race teams will arrive at the track and ready their machines for test and tune Saturday morning, followed by qualifying beginning at 11am. On Sunday morning all bets are off as racing begins and racers compete to go on to win the trophy.

 

Want to race your boat? Please contact one our members for details and safety requirements so you can experience the rush of the liquid quarter mile! We have classes for all skill levels and styles of boat. Jet boats, V-drives, Outboards, Hydros, and Jet Skis are welcome! Don’t feel like you could be competitive? We have a Super Eliminator class where you provide your own dial-in to race against faster or slower boats.

Gates open at 8:00am for spectators on Saturday and Sunday!

Parking is free

Adult passes are $12 on Saturday, and $15 on Sunday

All weekend passes are $25

Children 12 and under are free
